| Reaped | at work way to friggin early today, in order to leave at 4:30 rather than five. last night was spent sucking Lagavulin whisky at monkey hill. according to mike i ruined it with ice and water, but i'd already killed a bottle of wine and some strange hooch that bug concocted from taaka vodka & other things in the fridge. good whiskwy should be drunk neat, preferably in a good heavy bottomed tumbler or strait from the bottle. but whatever. tastes good either way, kinda like a pile of peat soaked in ether, but in a tasty way. nice night though. i like monkey hill for the beautiful people & free pool. always nice to rub shoulders with the yups once in awhile. bet i could find a man in there no problem... bad librarian is drinking coffee at the refdesk today. she also slightly reeks of bar. bad bad library grrl. and for some reason, i have all this work to do. wtf? yesterday i finished up my CV for the personnel file, not before getting about twenty suggestions for it from other people. i like boss lady, but damn if she don't hit you with the constructive criticism. crab comes home today. actually, he should be in in about an hour. like the crab himself, his parents have a tendency towards the evil genius gene, and scheduled his ticket back for the butt crack of dawn. so when i finally see him he'll probably also be reeking of bar. which is good, cos tonight we go to the columns for some free fried catfish. mmmmm, boney. |
