| Reaped | So went to g'ville and found the Bug after all. Moved crab's stuff out of the old house. His ex-roommates had shoved all his stuff in the closet (given, it wasn't that much of stuff and he doesn't live there anymore, just pays rent), then listened to one of his exes lecture him on litigious matters like accountability and singular and collective liability. I think they were pissed b/c Crab never pays his rent on time. they should be: as we left Crab was babbling about how his lawyer says he no longer owes them anything etc.etc. he left his papazan chair as an apology for proactively skipping rent. Time to drink after those vibes.
Went down to the Top and had drinks, tried to convince the Bug to move to N.O, etc. The bar hadn't changed, besides the fact that the gnocchi (miniature perogies with potato filling & alfredo sauce-yummy) plate had suspiciously shrunken in size for a meal of $8.95. but the paint by numbers art was still on the walls, and the waitresses were still get-up kids with bitchy attitudes, and i was not disappointed to see the emo scene going strong in north central fl. after dinner we met up w/ jame's girlie, who'd just turned 21 and was enjoying the experience of legally drinking in bars. We called james and marissa Bug and Cow, but they were not as amused as we. on sunday me and the Crab might go to anastasia island to visit Bug and his family. tonight though, a different type of insect. i'm saying a brief prayer to the movie gods that spiderman does not suck. however, fate usually dictates these 'blockbusters' will, at least in the eyes of my pretentious humanities background. |
