| Reaped | So I called into work "sick" yesterday & today. And I guess I am...sick of the underpaid overrated crap that I have to deal with at ye olde reference desk. But tis no matter. Last night was one of the most transcendent concerts to which i have ever been: hot water music, less than jake, bad religion. the opening bands took me back to those ska-punk days of gainesville, when we circle skanked the Covered Dish and almost died of suffocation in the pit. older now, we sit in the back, fists in the air, go to hell with superman and die like a champion yeah-hey. now i can die a happy punk. don't care if its an oxymoron. if i can see them again in NYC next week, now that would be wonderful. anyone have an extra ticket? i'll provide the beer. | Sown |
