| Reaped | Last night we went to a king cake party at Blood Freak's house. Blood Freak was the guy that well, brought over the Blood Freak movie that one time not too long ago. He's very much one of those pop culture guys, drinkin beer out of the Evil Dead thermos, playing a tape of Attila, whom he tells everyone was "billy joel's first band" and he "found it for a buck at a pawn shop." kinda sounds like me, only male. but such is the pattern among popcult junkies. Good times: beer, blunts, besotted english majors. Always with the besotted english majors, just wouldn't be a party without em. and of course the king cake: one from zara's and another bought on the fly when the party bloomed to about 40 people, with cheese cake & apple filling. you can't tell stoners bought it, can you? but i digress. this party was a continuation of a king cake party that started last week: whoever gets the baby must throw the party the next monday. so really this was a 17th night party, and next week we're invited to the 24th night. which is cool, if i can survive the king cake i'll be there. i'm wondering, are forces lining against me? for this morning, a message lying await in my inbox: "Hello Everyone: There's apple-filling King Cake in the breakroom for everybody to enjoy!"
