| Reaped | True story inspired by James Spader. A couple years ago good ol' James & his young family were in the city to film a movie. So apparently they rented a house right down the street from CircGirl's boyfriend's mother (got that?), an unassuming nice old lady who likes to take walks in the evening. So lo & behold an evening came around & CircGirl's Boyfriend's Mother went on her nightly constitutional. Passed right by ol' Spader's home, where the family was hanging out in the front yard. As she walked by, as genteel folk here in the South are wont to do, she waved and gave a friendly "Hello". The family Spader took one look at her before running inside & locking the door. Moments later, a housekeeper emerged, approached the Mother of the boyfriend of the coworker Circgirl, telling her, "We're sorry, but please don't bother us while were here, just leave us alone, okay?" Then the housekeeper left the mystified mother, who could not believe the manners of this young family. Because outside the world of Hollywood, there are some people who DON'T know who you are. Devout Catholics who won't watch anything with 'sex' much less 'lies & videotape' in the title. Who don't enjoy sci-fi egyptology. This group includes CircGirl's boyfriend's mom. She just thought they had bad manners. And that's my secondhand story of James Spader. Now it's time for a break. There's a storm a brewin' outside, & I wanna go smell the ozone. |
